Two-Dimensional Particle Simulation of Flux- Wall Guid ed Transfer in Submerged Arc Welding

The flux-wall guided transfer mode in submerged arc welding was mo deled by a particle method and simulated two dimensions. Moreover, numerical experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of driving forces acting on molten metal this mode. As result, successfully simulated, which droplet left wire tip while impacting cavity wall. This computational result showed that liquid column formed at Lorentz force, then pushed up pressure grown horizontally. Then, droplets collided with wall, detached from tip, transported toward weld pool base metal. In addition, using model, it suggested both force important factors for
